I have been searching for an app to calculate time spent on mac but coudn't find what im looking for. I want a simple app to show how much time i spend using my mac, and time should pause if my mac is in sleep mode.
Does anyone know how to accomplish this?

Luckily my wife is on the computer about as much as me (so I don't catch too much "heck" for my computing time)...but I'm sure she's tracking something...and if I don't get to it...I'm sure I'll hear about it:

- trash needs to go out
- lawn needs to be mowed
- leaves need to be raked
- car needs repairing
- check my oil
- check my tire pressure
- the rain gutters are full of leaves
- fix the holes in the house from the wood-peckers
- eww..there's a snake in the basement
- dog poop in the backyard needs to be cleaned up
- we need to get a Christmas tree this weekend
- "does this make me look fat?";)
- "you didn't notice my haircut!";)
- etc. etc. etc.

Does this sound about right???;););)

Could you not just download a stopwatch from the MAS, and then start/stop whenever you log on/off?!

To be more helpful and hopefully less sexist :)

Go to MacUpdate and do a search on "activity timer" and you are likely to find LOTS of results that may work for you. One that got updated quite recently is Timing, but it costs $8. There's also the free Time Up (both of these are just examples, MANY more options out there).
