Hi, got new 4S and can't figure out how to transfer 300 contacts from old Nokia N95. They are stored on the phone, not the SIM. Can't download them or send them to computer either.

New iPhone SIM not compatible with old Nokia phone.

Is there an easy way, or manually!?

Thanks! wbb

The easiest way would be to bring it in to either an Apple store or to the carrier's store. They can do the transfer in just a few minutes.

Thanks Doug. We're 300km from nearest store unfortunately. Spoke with Apple earlier by phone and they said to get a SIM card 'adaptor' for the iPhone SIM card (from Telstra, maybe only 100km away if I'm lucky!), insert that into Nokia N95, copy contacts to the 'adapted' SIM, remove adaptor and place SIM back in iPhone.

Sounds easy, not! But maybe only way.

There's no small cell phone shops where you live at? Some of them have a machine (a Cellebrite) that allows them to transfer contacts like Doug b suggested.

Thanks Doug and Eric. Yes, have since discovered a telephone shop 70km away can 'punch out' the SIM card to adapt it to the microSIM. Nearly sorted! Wow, what a difficult process! Cheers for help..
