hi,

I am trying to upload pictures to our work 'piczo' website, but for some reason the pics upload for a few seconds, then it stops and i get a "THE SERVER OR PROXY NOT FOUND" message. This never used to happen on the old PC we used to use, but since we have upgraded to IMAC i cannot get past this.

I have installed firefox an tried that way but still no luck. Is there possibly some safari setting/firewall activated on my IMAC that may be preventing me uploading pics? The 'piczo' site is fine so it must my IMAC right? I have googled it and been on various websites including MAC SUPPORT but i've had no joy.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated,

thank you

Perhaps you had a proxy setup on the PC to access your work piczo site and were not aware of it? If your browser (Safari, FF, etc) is stating that it can't find the server or proxy, then your work site may be blocking access. Get with your IT folks and ask them to fix it.
