Hi,
I am sorry if this is in the wrong location or anything, I am new here.
Anyways, so today I had to get my mac fixed because the hard drive died. Got back and wanted to restore my computer using my backup. I used the "restore" feature in time machine. This did not restore my computers settings as I thought, but as far as I can tell just copied the files somewhere onto my computer. Now I am preparing to use the migration assistant, which I think is the correct thing to restore my mac, only now I can't do it because I don't have enough space because I copied my files or something onto the hard drive and as hard as I have looked I can't find them anywhere. Advice?
Thanks a lot.

try powering off the computer. Start up again and when you get the apple logo (chime) hit the "N" key to load from network. then it will ask were to boot from and follow the onscreen instructions...
