I was just taking a peek at my activity monitor, and noticed that my page outs were higher than typical (usually they are close to 0). Right now they are at 5962. I assume that this is because I just did rendering on a bunch of LiveType files, but I was just curious for a definition of exactly what page outs are and how they effect my performance.
Also, I've been planning on beefing up my ram to at least 1.5GB, preferably 2. 1GB was fine when I was only doing print and web design, but now that I'm doing more and more video editing, I sense my computer getting maxed out.
