Apple rumored to buy flash memory company for $500 million

Apple is planning to spend between $400 million and $500 million to buy Anobit, an Israel-based flash memory company, according to a new report.

I am hoping next year a refresh with 500gb of flash memory. then I will bite...i think!

Don't hold your breath... They may slap 500GB of flsh storage in it, but it's still going to cost $1799+ to play that game.

it will be worth it to me then, the cheaper price comment was a joke...

if they put 500gb in a 13" I will hop on board tho! I want at least 250gb for my osx so if I partition off 120gb for win7 and work programs, then OSX will run on the rest. will give me suffcient space!
