Hey all, I'm new here! I've had my MBP since Sept. of last year. It's a 2.66ghz 15" model. Been running Win7 32-bit on a partition for almost that long. This week Windows wouldn't boot. Never had any problems before. It'd show me a gray screen on startup like normal, then go black and stay that way. Fan would run fast too.
I had a backup on an external HDD so I went into OSX (which still works fine), reset the RAM parameters and reinstalled Win7/created a new Windows partition from scratch. Restored the backup and had no problems for two days. Now it's starting again, black screen on Windows startup only. I can't repair install this time because it gives me a black screen on startup even after Bootcamp prompts me to throw in the factory Windows install disc. I'm stumped. Any ideas?
