WD 1TB external hardrive

Hiya, I'm getting an imac sometime in the next month or so (depends when my money gets put in my bank)

I was just wondering if I would be able to use my external drive with the imac.

It says WD on the front, and "elements" next to the drive letter. As you can tell I'm really not good with computers so please keep the answers simple.

It will likely require formatting the external using Disk Utility on your Mac.
