Hello,

This is my first post here.
My gf macbook air (only about 6 month old) from nothing the keyboard is not working properly anymore.
She uses it very little and it did not fall of had any liquid split on top.
Suddenly, almost two entire raws of keys do not work.
The keys that do no work are: all keys from "q" 'to' "o";
and all keys from "a" to 'l".
All other keys work properly.
I am in Mozambique and there is no tech suport here (I bought it in Cape Town sometime ago).
I don't have a clue if this is a software issue of faulty keyboard.
Is there a way to test?
Any hints?

Thank you in advance,

regards

ps- by the way, this are the new macbook air.

Call apple or go to the apple store and get these replaced for free if it is under warranty.

Thanks guys.
I am gonna call the apple store where I bought and take it from there.
I was testing this macbook air today and if I press the number 1-3 keys really hard, the keys do work for a while (a few seconds) and then they go away again.
The raw of keys (lower) from Q to L do dot work at all even with this trick.
I assume it is something wrong with the keyboards connects or with the keyboard it self.
Thanks for the replies.
Regards
