I am having a problem opening iphoto. I have pictures already stored but it won't open . I just keep getting the spinning circle. Also I tried importing new photos and again the same thing. I also have a photo scanner loaded and I could check my photes through that as well as loading my new ones. However I still want to open them in iphoto. Could it be that the scanner software is creating some problems. Please help.

Thanks

First make sure your IPhoto is updated via software update.
Next try repairing your permissions using Disk utility / repair permissions.
If that doesn't work try trashing your I-Photo cache and prefs.
Good luck.

You might want to try reinstalling iPhoto. Make sure you backup your Picture folder first.

Insert your installation discs, and use Pacifist to find iPhoto on that disc.
