Iphone 4s won't stop talking to me!

:Not-Amused: My new iphone 4s talks non stop ie 'screen dimming'/'screen locked' it will not scroll! I have to double tap to open apps - can anyone help! It's literally driving me insane and it's just out of the box!!

do a search on "youtube" for whats called "voiceover" it will tell how to shut it off ... i had the same problem .. you go to settings , general , accessibility , then shut off voiceover .. you can scroll with 3 fingers

Or just press the home screen button three times. That will turn it off.
