Used Macbook

Hi,
I bought a used 2009 Macbook which has been upgraded to Lion 10.7.2. When I go to Macbook preferences under hardware, it says it still belongs to the previous owner. How do I make it mine with my own password etc? Right now I sign in as a new user.

system preferences/ user accounts. then click on the lock in the bottom left corner and change the name and password
