I bought a used iPod Touch that "just needed a headphone jack."

I ordered the replacement jack and took the unit apart. Immediately I noticed the old jack was not connected to the logic board. The little plastic piece that attaches to the logic board was still attached to the jack's ribbon.

I'm trying to figure out what in the world I can do to get this thing working. As you'll see in the pictures.

Is it possible I can glue or attach the little broken piece using some kind of adhesive?

it looks like the board is cracked. i am guessing no but you could try glue or something like that.
