Hello all...
I am new to this forum and am hoping to learn from you all.
I just recently decided to wipe out and reinstall my OS on my macbook. All is going fine except my iphoto. I backed up on DVD each of the folders in my library. For example I selected my 2011 folder under library and burned it to DVD. I did an import from my DVD into the newly installed iphoto and I got a triplicate of photos. Also I noticed that the dates on my photos are now the current date and not when they were created. I still have all this on DVD and would like to try again. I am obviously missing a step. Can someone lead me in the right direction. I thought that doing a simple import would work, it did but it is really a mess.
Thank you all for your guidance
