Mac Mini options

I'm looking at the mac mini to use for my home theatre--music, streaming video, download movies, etc.

So far I've settled on the 2.5 GHz dual core with 4GB RAM. Is there any advantage to upgrade to 2.7 GHz, and/or 8 GB RAM?

Hi, I bought one about 3 months ago to do the same and run it through my Denon receiver. It works a treat and I did upgrade the processor as its something you can't do in the future but the ram is very expensive from apple and you can always upgrade this yourself for a fraction of the cost. One thing I have noticed though is if you have a large tv 50" or so everything does look pretty small, other than that I love it.

Can you be more specific about what looks small?

Hard to explain but looking at text or iTunes on a big tv is just a lot smaller, I sit about 3ft away and it's just not like sitting in front of a monitor.
