I just purchased a IPAD 2 and would like to do some programing to make my own apps. The web site says you need a Mac computer to run the developer program. Does anyone know if it's possible to run this directly off of the ipad 2 or possibly through safari to access the web. I'm trying to save the cost of purchasing a Mac computer after just purchasing the ipad 2. Thanks.

Moved to a more appropriate forum.

Xcode, Apple's developer framework for Mac and iOS applications is exclusive to OS X. There's no way around that. There are however alternative ways to develop iOS apps that might work on Windows but I will leave that to the developers here to clarify whether or not that's the case.

Thanks for the info. I came across this program in my searching yesterday. It looks like it might be just what I need to get started and give me the opertunity to try it and maybe purchase a Mac in the future. Thanks again.
