Help! New Belkin N750 not working with Mac Mini server

I just purchased a Belkin N750 to replace my Linksys E2000 that was operating way too slow. So far, it is read well by my iPhone, iPad, and MacBook Pro. Butt he problem is I use the Mac mini as my entertainment center and it will not let me connect to the internet. It shows as being a full strength reading on the network, but when I try to connect nothing happens. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm at the point of just taking the router back, but I want to give it one last shot. Thanks.
