The company that made the printer you are talking about decided that Mac users (I don't know what a MAC is, perhaps you mean a raincoat?) don't need that ability, and wrote a less-capable driver.
OR you have the wrong or an out-of-date driver for that printer installed.
A Mac is short for "Macintosh." It's not an acronym, thus it should not be capitalised.
