in a G4 Macbook? I have a dead 15" Macbook Pro from 2007-8 with a good disc drive and my neighbor has a 13" white G4 Macbook. Can I take the drive out of mine and get it to work in his? Thanks.

No...because there is no such thing as a "G4 MacBook".
There are:
- MacBooks
- MacBook Pros
- Powerbook G4's
- iBook G4's
But no "G4 MacBooks". Maybe you mean a 13" MacBook? If so...we would probably need to know the exact model laptop your neighbor has...and what model laptop you have.

O.K. then. It's an older white Mac notebook with a 60G hard drive and 500RAM running Tiger. Or so I'm told. I haven't seen it yet. What is it?
