iTunes Match

I signed up for iTunes match and scanned my library. I have numerous songs or other audio that either gives me an error message or a not eligible for match notification. When I sync my iPad and iPhone to iTunes the option to sync music is no longer available due to iTunes Match being turned on. My question is how do you get songs that are in your library but either not eligible for match or some other error, onto your i devices?
