OSX10.6.2 Discs!!

hey all,

I'm trying a fresh install on my 13 inch MBP via firewire from a second macbook machine. The HDD on the MBP is all good to go freshly wiped. I borrowed the OS10.6.2 discs from a friends as I had lost the second OS10.5 disc. Right at the end of install, it prompted for a second install disc as well. My friend had all of his packaging in the box and there was only the one install disc and one "applications" disc. At this point I tried popping the "applications" disc but it was spat out!

I'm overcomplicating things, are there 1 or 2 discs for OS10.6.2?? The person I borrowed the discs from maintains they haven't lost any so am I doing something wrong?

Of course you're doing something wrong! Apple states 1 computer per set of OS install disks...thus NO borrowing! Second...if these disks are gray/silver colored...they won't work on your computer...they are model specific.

An OS 10.6 install disk only costs $29 bucks...get one!
