Need some help deciding

I own an ipad, an iphone, and an ipod, but i've never owned, or even used a Macbook. Well, that's about to change. I just cant make up my mind. 13" Macbook Pro or 13" Macbook Air.

Since you already have an iPad I would shoot for the Pro.

Pro, Im on a 13 Pro and Love it.

Get an SSD and upgrade the ram

How much more will a SSD and upgraded RAM cost me?

I'm surprise Mac Pro don't come with SSD's. Does RAM start at 4gb's, upgrade able to 8?

I ordered my Macbook new off ebay with an upgraded SSD, the OWC and the 8gb ram.

It does start at 4 and goes to 8 and even 16 with OWC.

The SSD is more, but its pretty fast...and it can't get damaged as easily

@alucard76 i would wait for the 2012 macs i got the macbook pro 15" 2.2ghz i7 my very first mac was brand new not a referb i loved it was like a kid at xmas but the 2011 macs run hot on tick over my macbook pro was hitting 50 degrees!!! and on browsing youtube videos it was hitting high 80 i have heard the 13 macbooks run just as hot i sent it back because the case was hitting 30 degrees and thats not good when its near your crotch but if you really need one i would get the macbook pro 13 if you want a small laptop and power but if you want pure portability i would get the air as it weighs next to nothing but still has some power hope this helped =)
