Hello, I am looking to run Photoshop on my 2006 13" MacBook with 2gb RAM and a 2ghz CoreDuo processor. The problem is i currently only have the Windows version of photoshop so I need to either run Virtual Box or Boot Camp. My dad is telling me that on Virtual Box I won't have enough RAM to run Photoshop without extreme lag and the best solution is to run it on bootcamp. With my computer's specs is this accurate? I would like the ease of running a virtual machine so I can switch to Snow as quickly as possible but being photoshop is a demanding program potential lagg worries me. If it helps my HDD has loads of free space. Thanks!

Your Dad may well be right. A VB virtual machine will likely need at least 1 GB of memory to run well and that might not leave enough for Photoshop. Using a BC setup on the other hand will allow all 2 GB to be used in Windows. Since VB is free, give it a try. You can always uninstall VB and use BC instead.
