How do you watch YouTube?

Hello all, getting my superhub from Virgin tomorrow and shall be finally going online via my new Mac. Now, I have read that watching YouTube videos on a Mac is a painful business due to (allegedly) Apple and Adobe not being the best of friends.

So, what is your experience of viewing YouTube on a Mac?

Should I avoid flash with my life and use html5?

Also, should I avoid Safari due to it apparently eating up all of my RAM? Is Chrome any better?

I use Chrome and Flash and it's perfectly fine..if you have the option of using HTML5..do so..

I use my iPad or iPhone and AirPlay + ATV to watch on the TV

Flash works the processor (and thus the fan) harder than it needs to (as HTML5 proves). However, your Mac can handle it, so don't worry about it.

Thanks - Virgin installed the superhub today and YouTube works fine with Adobe flash on Safari. Booked my first One to One for next week too, being a total novice. Got to say that the switch, to date, has been seamless and I have found things to be user friendly.

Never had a problem with youtube. Only old computers and slow internet will give you problems. If you are having a problem with youtube, then there's another issue somewhere.
