Can you tell me the difference between these imacs?

Hi I am kind of new to this, and I kind of get the difference, but not really?

So I am looking at these two iMacs.

This one:

Refurbished iMac 21.5-inch 2.7GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 - Apple Store (U.S.)

And this one:

Refurbished iMac 21.5-inch 3.6GHz Intel Core i5 processor - Apple Store (U.S.)

To me the one from 2011 is better, though it a slower processor it is a quad core, and the other one from 2010 is just a intel core.
The 2011 model also does have a hd camera built in and it also has a better graphics card.

But what I am asking is, what is the difference between a quad core intel i5 2.7 ghz and a intel intle i5 3.6ghz, and what one is faster?

Buy the 2011 model. You can check the official benchmarks at MacWorld and you'll see it easily outperforms the 2010 model in speed and graphics.

Get the 2011 model. It is much faster then the 2010 one.

Buy the 2011 version. I did and made the right choice. It is very fast and no issues whatsoever. Just a learning curve moving from the PC to Mac

I just got the 2011 Quad Core 27" i5 and it's way faster than my 2008 24" Core 2 duo. Plus it will take 16GB's RAM plus. It runs FCP.

You will cherish your decision if you choose the quad-core iMac.

2011 iMacs use SandyBridge processors, which are a big improvement over the prior version. I still don't understand why Intel didn't re-brand them. Instead they used i3, i5 and i7, even though the old and new are very different.
