apps for the iPad?

I'm going to be getting an iPad for christmas and I was wondering if you could share some names of good apps. I'm still a college student so I would like to read pdf books and pdf textbooks with it. I'm also a computer science major so any apps that might deals with that would be awesome.

For PDF files, I like Good Reader. It's the fastest of those I've tried and has some great features to it. As for other types of apps… it all depends on what you want to do on it.

+1 on GoodReader.

iBook APP also handles PDFs.

If you do a thread search you will find a couple of threads with extensive lists of recommended APPs.
