Update and Reboot

Ok, So I just did an update for Safari and EFI and then it shuts down and boots to grey screen, then installs the update, then shuts down and boots up.

Is this process normal?

I know when I first was installing things, it would shut down and seem like it was booting up and then shut down and it repeated the process four times. Maybe because it was installing four apps?

Just a little nervous. Brand new computer.
Everything seems to be functioning properly though

Occasionally with some updates...the computer will reboot twice.

I don't think I have anything to be worried about.

All normal. The firmware update is the most scary because the screen will sometimes go black for about 1 minute or so before it reboots.
