How come Roxio has yet been able to successfully burn a compelte dvd backup for me.
I'm following the tutorial to a T, and yet no luck. I can burn just the movie fine but it craps out with menus.
I'm using Roxio 6 and can't figure out whats wrong.
Heres a latest example of my roxio frustrations.
I used dvdbackup to copy to my harddrive then dvd2onex to compress.
I tested the final VIDEO_TS folder in the dvdplayer and everything played fine menus and everything.
But when I put it through roxio it burned just the film and in spanish no less. What the **** is going on with this thing?
Can anyone offer any roxio tips or suggest burning software that will actually work?

any help is much appreciated.

Okay, that Screen Shot is wrong. That's not what it should look like.

I deleted 6 because I hated it. But you need to go under "Data" then you need to select DVD whatever.

good luck.

The only thing I've been doing different from the tutorial is using roxio 6, which it seems I might have to reconsider.
I'm still playing around though.
As for putting it under Data the choosing a dvd option, I had considered it but I'm not sure what to pick.
The only dvd option under Data is DVD-ROM (udf)
I'm becoming really fed up with roxio 6, is NERO coming out with a mac version?

Yeah, you have to choose the DVD-ROM (udf) one.

Awesome, thanks for the suggestion.
Using Data then selecting the DVD-ROM (UDF) option worked perfectly.
