I have my ibook on all day in sleep if I am not home and usually shut if off every night, and like 2 nights a week I will forget and just let it sleep till the next day. So is it better for it to be in sleep or turned off at night? (it is plugged into the power adapter)

The only time I have turned mine off was when I was installing my memory. At night I usually just put mine to sleep.

I'd recommend using the search function at the top of the forum. This topic has been discussed a ton of times.
