I have Word for Mac 2004 installed on my OS X 10.4.11. I want to get rid of some the files I haven't used in years. So I went to OPEN: microsoft word and tried to delete the unwanted files. I pushed the delete button but nothing happened. Is there a way to delete these files. Many thanks for any assistance.

You can't use MS Word to delete files. Use the Finder instead.
