I got a Macbook Pro just a few days ago and this is the first time I've ever used a mac, I installed some programs and I got an error when i tried to delete them and when I tried to re-install the item I still get an Error

I wanted to know how to reset the macbook pro to when I first got it.

also, I bought this from BestBuy and I noticed it did not come with a CD

Go to the apple in the top left and then click "about this mac." If it is lion, then it should say 10.7.2. It may say 10.7.(a different number), but 10.7 is the main part

That means you have the newest software (Lion). I am not sure exactly how to do it with Lion, there are very knowledgeable people on here who should be able to answer that question. Im sure when they look at this post, they will answer your question. I just gave you that link to apple's website, which should be able to help. Good luck with your restore!
