Just found this http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox/ and reckon it could be useful as on our office eMac running 10.5.8 we keep being told our browser is too old.
TenFourFox is built on the latest Firefox release but optimised for PPC architecture, specifically for Tiger 10.4 but also runs well in Leopard.
I'm giving it a try now to see if things get better.

Cheers :)

I tried TenFourFox on my g4 Mini with 10.5.8 and it's nice especially if you like Firefox as it gives you a newer FF build on an older Mac that can fun the latest FF builds. Also Safari on Tiger is getting old and has issues on some sites.

Liking it so far, seems faster than just Firefox, and renders images much better.

Yup, I've played around for a bit and made it the default browser. Adblock works fine, but Staus-4-Evar (puts the status bar back) had to be reinstalled.
Other than that, no flash support shouldn't be a problem as I can still use Firefox proper for TVCatchup when needed.

Cheers :)

I wasn't sure if they would be able to keep up with the new accelerated schedule Mozilla has but it seems like they can. Hopefully, for those of you using PPC Macs, Mozilla doesn't introduce any Intel specific code (like Chrome for instance).
