I have had a MacBook connected to a Time Capsule via two Airport Express relays (3 air jumps). The MacBook is about 100 ft away in a separate wing of the house. Anyway, all was working OK until I was prompted to download a software update to the Airport Expresses. Now the signal strength (RSSI) on the MacBook is really weak and I loose connection to the Time Capsule. If I bring the MacBook closer to the Time Capsule the signal strength improves greatly. But I emphasize this network connection was working OK.
Is there also a Wi-Fi upgrade to the MacBook I should install? No prompts for anything like that.
