P. Elements 10 external editor for Aperture 3 issue

Hi To all,
Needs some advice as I am having issue opening the pic from aperture when selecting it to use as the Elements 10 as the external editor the problem is that the elements 10 will open but no picture coming out and on my aperture strip I could see a duplicate photo of what I am trying to edit. Will really appreciate your help. Might as well give inputs on how to utilize the elements 10 better with aperture 3.

I had a similar problem with iPhoto11 and Elements 10. My problem was that I had selected the wrong Elements program link when setting my external editor. I had to go into the "support files" folder and choose the Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor.
