Disc stuck in CD drive

I put a disc in, one of the smaller size file discs, and it does not register it is there, nor does it come out...HELP!!

those disks won't work in a slot loading drive.

I have actually done this before. If it's one of those half CD's here's what I did:

1) Firmly grasp whatever hold the CD drive
2) Turn drive opening towards the ground
3) Shake vigorously.
4) Perhaps even place 1 hand to stop it, and slam the disc opening side into your hand, allowing the CD to fly out.

Haha, nice! Thought i should mention that you should shut your computer down first to prevent any damage to the HD from the "vigorous shaking"
