Hi there guys, ok my macbook pro has the Macintosh HD and Bootcamp (Windows7) For the past week when I shutdown my mac it wont restart to the normal windows screen which i have setup as default instead of mac. Its opening the Operating system which then gives me option to diagnose, defrag etc cant remember all the options, I did everything it told me but still no luck. I have just figured out that I could use OS X, but I want to get to the solution of why my windows is not working before I go into Apple as it is about an hours drive to get to the nearest store. I have also tried the shutdown and restart and pressing F8 to try the safe mode but still no luck :(
Please help...all ideas welcome

Which version of OS X is on your machine? What model, year MBP do you have? Post that info and we can go from there....

Update to OS X.6.8.

Go into System Preferences > Startup Disk and highlight the Windows partition and hit restart. You should then restart automatically in Windows. if not you have installed something a little amiss. Have you upgraded Bootcamp whilst in Windows by selecting Apple Software Updates under all programs?
