hey

i'm getting a macbook in about a month or so i was wondering if a macbook can have modem where you plug it into a USB port. my parents are thinking of getting wireless but until they decide i would have to use the modem.

also we are restricted to the internet in my area and i was wondering if the disk i have to use to install the internet would it work on a macbook our would i have to get a special one for it.

anyone who can help i would be very thankful!!

Are you referring to a cable, ADSl or dial-up modem?

A make and model of the mdem would help determine if it'll would on your Mac

i know it's a speedtouch mordem and i think it's a ADSl. i'm not too sure
