Hi,
Maybe somebody has heard of this problem and has a possible solution:
I have my MacBook connected to an amplifier. Apparently the MacBook turns off the headphone jack when it's not in use (or something). As soon as I use it again, there's some kind of surge (or something again) which makes the amplifier automatically turn off to protect itself. Since I need the amplifier to be reliable I have to solve this problem.
The obvious solution would be an external sound card. But is there maybe a software solution to this problem? Some way to deactivate the Macbook turning off the headphone jack?
Thanks for any suggestions.
