I downloaded and upgraded my iPhone to the new IOS 5 operating system. Part of the new operating system let's you doube click the control button when the phone is locked and it brings up the camera icon (as well as your music and of course the swipe feature to unlock the phone).

If you hit the camera button it opens up the camera, but if you exit the camera functionality it automatically opens your main screen - ESSENTIALLY THIS IS A WAY TO BYPASS THE UNLOCK PROTECTION ON YOUR IPHONE.

I was wondering if anybody else noticed that and if they have a solution to how to fix this?

Use a passcode. That way, when you access the camera, and then back out, it will bring up the passcode screen.

Also, sliding the "slide to unlock" is hardly protection.

Way... way too many specs to list.

Yep. You can't do anything other than take pictures if you have a passcode.

I do use a passcode. I think I was checking too soon, before the passcode kicked in...which I had at 5 minutes. I updated that. Thanks!
