I'm stuck between these two. I'm not very computer-savvy in terms of the specs so if anyone could clarify which of these is better, that would be great.

13-inch: 2.8 GHz
2.8GHz dual-core
Intel Core i7
4GB 1333MHz
750GB 5400-rpm1
Intel HD Graphics 3000
Built-in battery (7 hours)2
$1,499.00

15-inch: 2.2 GHz
2.2GHz quad-core
Intel Core i7
4GB 1333MHz
500GB 5400-rpm1
Intel HD Graphics 3000
AMD Radeon HD 6750M with 512MB GDDR5
Built-in battery (7 hours)2
$1,799.00

Is the 2.2GHz quad-core better than the 2.8GHz dual-core? Will the addition of the AMD Radeon graphics card make a huge difference when it come to running something like games on the computer? Although the 2 inch larger display seems nice, it's more of a luxury that I don't necessarily need so if the 13" outperforms the 15" I don't mind having a slightly smaller display.

Best bit will be to go to an apple store or similar outfit, and compare the two, see how you like one or the other. The best solution will be buy 2 and keep 2.
If you can afford it.

If you have the money to spend, the choice is a no-brainer. The 15" MBP is more powerful, has better graphics consisting of a discrete graphics chipset with its own memory, better screen resolution and better CPU.

My vote would be for the 15". Better graphics and a quad core cpu is a good deal.

If you are using it to game then the 15" would be the better buy. I still don't get peoples obsession with gaming on a notebook. >_<" Overpriced for the performance that you get out of it, and often more times then not there aren't many upgrade options.

I'm not gonna be using it primarily for gaming, but I want that option whenever possible.

The only thing that would make me consider the 13' would be the Hard Drive, but that can easily be resolved by and upgrade or using and external. The 15' has a definite edge, when it comes to process power. Unless you are just using it to surf the web, write papers, and stream.
