Wireless sync not working after new router

I have Verizon fios and just hooked up a Belkin wireless N router to the Actiontec one that the service comes with. I did this because the Actiontec router stinks and now I am getting much better coverage, but now my wireless sync doesn't work. I read things about upnp, but I don't have an airport device. Any ideas about how to fix this? Thanks.
