iPhone apps crashing

Every time I send an email or a message the apps crash. Apple was no help on the telephone. Anyone know how to fix this?

What have you and/or Apple tried to date? Have you done a cold reboot on the phone?

I did the reboot in with you hold the power and home button simultaneously and release when you see the apple logo.

A "cold reboot" means actually turning the iPhone OFF. Did you do that?

In case you haven't, you do this by holding the sleep button down until the "slide to power off" graphic appears, then slide. The iPhone will actually turn completely off.

Then press the sleep button down again for a second and the iPhone will turn on and boot up.
