A Lion Question

Hi, I recently upgraded my macbook pro to Lion and its working great. The only thing is when my computer boots up, i have all kinds of apps opening and i cannot find where i can change this . It is not in system/preferences/users/startup...

I have the same problem and the solution posted does not work.....

It should be an option to unclick when you shut down

System Preferences, General. Remove check from the box that states: "Restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps"
