I did a scan with clamxav on my macbook air running 10.7.2. It came up with 15 phishing infections. First time Ive used clamxav, I did not see a way to remove these files. I right clicked and went to delete but it stayed on the list.

Is there a phishing extension for safari, Ive had a look but cannot see any.

THose phishing infections are most probably emails. You can set ClamX to move suspect files to a quarantine folder of your choosing and delete them yourself, you can set that feature in the preferences.

... and they are not infections, just emails that bear all the signs of a phishing attempt
