Hi -
New Mac user switching from PC.
I have a recording studio and Mackie mixer with speakers hooked to mixer for output. On my PC I just used a simple audio cable from the head phone jack to an RCA male to plug in to the mixer to listen to music from the PC.
On the Mac book pro, I'm getting this horrific static, completely unusable.
Is there a special cable you need to use the headphone jack for audio output on a Mac? I've done some quick searches for 'Mac audio cable' or anything like that, not seeing.
What cable do I need? For music/audiophiles, how do you do audio out on Macs?
Thanks
