ipad2 wifi antenna help!

hello!
everyone
Im a new member of the forum and Im here looking for anyone who can help me,
here is my problem i have a ipad2, my son drop it and the digitizer broke,so I replace it but when I replace I broke the wifi antenna so I bougth one on ebay and now the problem is in order to use the wifi in house i have to be a lease 1 to 2 feet away from my router, if I move to my bedroom ,living room, kitchen or any where in the house the ipad can't find any network none,I bought another antenna from someone esle and still the same problem ,i update to iso5 and nothing, i have spend 2 hours a day almost everyday and can't find any help
please help me

You're probably not orienting the antenna correctly or it's wired in wrong. Go to iFixit: The free repair manual and look at their instructions for replacing the antenna.

Then it's pooched in some other way. Sounds like you'll be in the market for a refurb'd iPad (and a more shockproof case for it).
