Which file to select to view in VLC

Colleague lent me a short video to watch regarding a project we are working on. I have tried to view it in VLC but it does not allow me to watch the video. I don't know which file to select to view it. I did one which showed the video but no audio.

Attached is a screen shot from Finder with the CD contents.

It did not work on my DVD player.

Don't select a file.

Open the 'File' menu in VLC and select Open disc.

Thanks. It would not work under the DVD option but it did work as a VCD I think.

That's because it is a VCD. As you can tell from your screenshot (hint: folder called VCD).
