Synching with Ical and iCloud

so many threads, its hard to follow so please excuse me if I ask the same questions. I finally got ical to sync to entourage but iCloud is not synching

ical and iCloud not in sync

my iCloud calendar does not match my ical calendar on the macbook pro. many entries missing
