Time Machine help on my Macbook Pro

Alright. I noticed that my hard drive was dying. So i backed it up with time machine. Took it to the apple store the next day where they threw in a new hard drive. The lady put on a temporary account just named apple with the password apple for me to be on so i could go home and re install lion. I do that, and i use migration assistant to load everything back on from the night before time machine back up. That all worked great. Then today i went to go look through my old backups on my time machine hard drive and most of the folders have the red circle with the white minus sign through it. Ive read a bunch of people say its permission issued. But i haven't been able to find a thread of some one that solved it with a similar issue. Some one please help me get my permissions back for my old back ups. Thank you!
