Problem Converting a Video For Ipod, Using QT Pro

It seems to be that when I open up a .mov movie in QT PRO, I'm not able to export it. The export option is ghosted, and only .mov files show up like this, I have a ton of videos in .mov format, and they need to be converted to mpeg-4 for my iPod, any suggestions/answers?

i'm pretty sure you need QT pro to do this, I have quicktime pro and i am able to export every kind of movie file. Also when you use QT you do not need to convert it to mpeg-4 there is a built in option in the export setting called "ipod" and it has everything already set up in that setting to be put onto the ipod.

There is a program called Movie To Go at MacUpdate that encodes them way quicker than QT Pro. You can get it here.

I'm trying to convert a .MOV file to a .MPEG-4 file, and I installed Videora, yet it will not convert the file. It says it is, but it takes less than a second, and a 0kb file is placed in the "Converted Videos" section.

If your willing to spend 15 bucks there is a program called PSPware that will convert the videos to the correct format its available for PC and Mac. I have used this and it works too.
